•  Since we use two warp threads when tying knots, our rugs are more durable compared to knoted rugs tied on a single warp thread.
• The pile we weave with the traditional Turkish knot is incredibly soft underfoot and its ranges of dimensions are suitable for any furniture you want to put on it.
• The pile ranges from 1-3 cm and it is suitable for placing items such as sofas, chairs or coffee tables. (Please contact us for custom pile request.)
• The flatweave parts are woven with the traditional Anatolian kilim weaving technique. Thanks to its dense weaving, it is resistant to the scratching needs of our cats and dogs friend.
• We kindly remind that a hand-woven rug is unique and will become more beautiful with use.
• Each of our rugs comes to life from the hands of our masters who are a weaving craftsmen for more than 30 years however it is not possible to produce exactly the same product, even if it is similar, in ongoing production.
• Since we weave with kirkit, even the kirkit striking power of our craftsman may cause slight differences in our rugs.
• Additionally, due to primitive dyeing methods, there are tone differences in the same color in madder dyes. This is a wonderful feature that makes each rug and its user unique, just like the hand of the craftsman.
• Since we dye our yarns one by one in boilers with madder in quantities allowed by human power, there may be a 3% tone deviation in the same model carpets produced as a sequel.

 Since the care of a handmade rug must be meticulous, we recommend that you take the following suggestions into consideration.

• Please vacuum frequently.
• Clean stains with the natural chemicals before dry.
• Professional hand washing should be done without using caustic.
• You can disinfect with electric steam cleaners with using natural chemicals only.

 

This rug is hand-made in one piece on kirkit weaving looms, using traditional rug and carpet weaving methods, without being combined later. It is a design registered at the Turkish Patent Office on behalf of Handan Loomworks.
